Kampala (Uganda)
Kampala is the capital city of Uganda in east Africa. It is situated
directly on the banks of Lake Victoria and has a population of approx.
1.3 million.
War, disease and poverty are unfortunately common features of life
in Uganda, making it a typical “Worldstar hotspot”. With
a Worldstar installation the needy and those providing assistance
will have access to a world stage and the prospect of project related
aid.

A twin town of Georgsmarienhütte. The two towns are in constant
contact and cultivate their partnership, amongst other things through
exchange visits (school students etc.)
